Aline is an independent non-executive director, board advisor, venture capital MD, mentor and former CEO of an international business with 25+ years of experience creating value for privately held businesses across sectors.

 

Her work on boards spans overseeing and inspiring businesses through change and growth, spearheading the corporate culture, talent and ESG agenda and instituting robust governance mechanisms and value-adding decision-making processes.

 

She is an ESG strategy subject-matter expert (visiting lecturer, fellow, author, and speaker) with a profound understanding of integrating all aspects of ESG into business strategy, including sustainability, societal and governance aspects.

People are crucial. Therefore, she takes culture and talent stewardship, leading people, succession, nomination, remuneration and DEI, inspiring innovation and forward-thinking business models that create employers of choice, and drive retention and engagement. 

 

Aline co-authored a book about corporate governance, and she holds various degrees, including a Certification in Corporate Governance (IDP-C) from the International Directors Program of INSEAD, Fontainebleau, an MBA in Economics and Social Studies from Vienna University of Economics and Business, and a degree in industrial engineering.
