Darshini Watawala is a Director at Deloitte Partners Sri Lanka and Maldives and part of the ESG Assurance and Reporting team. Currently, at PwC Sri Lanka, she is an Associate Director of the ESG Assurance and Reporting team. She is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Fellow member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. 

She holds a Master of Financial Economics from the University of Colombo. Darshini has 20+ years of post-qualification experience in auditing, finance, hedge fund administration and corporate reporting.

As an independent consultant, she has had over four years of experience in providing consultations in ESG Reporting (including Integrated Reporting and GRI Reporting), to quoted public companies in Sri Lanka spanning various industries such as hospitality, healthcare, finance (banks, insurance, finance and leasing) and diversified conglomerates.
