Dave is a decarbonisation advisor and expert in climate change, decarbonisation technology, carbon and associated energy policy, with particular interests in understanding the transition to the net-zero carbon economy and the associated technological, policy and social disruptions; and how the world might look in 2050.
Dave has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University and has spent the last 14 years consulting on climate changes responses and decarbonisation, scenario planning and disruptive technology.
Dave has worked with many top listed companies and industry associations; he has contributed to the World Bank’s Report for Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition on carbon pricing and complementary policies; is a member of South Africa’s international, interdisciplinary task team on decarbonising South Africa’s economy by 2050.
