Langton Mabhanga launched his career in Corporate Management and Leadership in 2000 while at Cargill, a diverse multinational headquartered in the USA. He is Chairman of the Board Corporate Strategy Committee for RTG and he was a Councilor and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the City of Kadoma where he led the creation and modelling of a Social Housing SBU, a scheme of 8 000 houses in 2013 – 2018. Langton sits on the Board of Directors for Fidelity Life Assurance Zimbabwe and Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG), both listed on The Zimbabwe Stock Exchange. 

Langton was identified as a young leader who became the youngest Board member who got exposed to the International Youth Leadership Development Program in Hong Kong in 1997, Canada in 2000, Nottingham in 2002, USAID Private Sector Strategies for Social Sector Success program – A Course on NGO Sustainability at Zambia Lusaka University in 2003. Other YMCA Strategy engagements were in South Africa, Togo, Ghana and Germany.

Apart from several Electrical Power Engineering qualifications, Langton holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Intelligence, a Master’s Degree in Business and Economic Intelligence from Mt. Carmel Institute and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Technology IIC Cambodia. He has been listed for International Certification as Senior Business Strategy Professional with The Strategy Institute (USA).
