Osama El Meligy is the Chairman and CEO of TOTAL Consulting Egypt and is a Management Systems and Good Governance consultant, and owner of Total Quality Company, with more than 40 years of international experience in the field of standards and management systems consulting.

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in establishing national and regional quality infrastructure organizations. He advised more than 400 organizations from different sectors in their strategy, structure, management, and operations to improve their performance and sustainably grow by adopting standards and finding new and better ways of doing business. El Meligy founded the Egyptian Society for Quality and is the Former Secretary General of the Society. He held many prestigious leadership positions in ISO technical committees, such as Convener of ISO / TMB / ATMG “Arabic Translation Management Group”, Convener of ISO TC 176 / SC3 Study Group on Time, Speed and Agility, ISO TC 176/ SC2 that developed ISO 9000 series, ISO /TC 207 Environment Management, and ISO/TMB/WGSR that developed ISO 26000 Social Responsibility.

He presented several Workshops for UNIDO on Good Governance, and is responsible for developing the UNIDO e-learning course on “Good Governance in QI Institutions”. He is also a Member of the World Quality Council (Mexico and Latin America) and wrote the first Arabic book on Environmental Management and translated several books and publications on Quality into Arabic.
