Rosemary Amato

Rosemary Amato trained as a management accountant earning the CMA and CPA qualifications and raised to the rank of Vice President Controller for a large US Retailer after having also worked in manufacturing and distribution companies.

 

She then moved to a Big 4 where she earned her CISA and spent 20+ years in their Risk Advisory practice eventually becoming a Managing Global Director with responsibilities for the implementation of their first global reporting system which included digital delivery via a data visualization tool.

 

She is the owner of Romarat Consultancy which provides services to companies such as a boutique internal audit consulting firm in Malta, a large bank in the Netherlands, and a global Medical Devices company.

 

Rosemary has been a  board member of the Global Board of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), chairing the Performance Oversight and Audit Committee. She was the president of the Atlanta Chapter and helped co-found the Amsterdam Chapter.  Currently, she sits on the Technology Solutions Practice Committee as well as the Committee on Academic Relations, and the Sustainable Business Management Global Task Force.

 

She has also taught two classes of MBA students at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and is one of the 28 co-authors of a new book: Ready for Female Leadership: The Future is NOW!
