Stephanie Bertels is the Director of the Centre for Corporate Governance and Sustainability and the VanDusen Professor of Sustainability at SFU’s Beedie School of Business in Vancouver, Canada.  

She also founded and leads the Embedding Project, a global public-benefit research project collaborating with leading global companies across a range of sectors to develop practical tools that help them embed sustainability into their decision-making. Stephanie regularly supports companies, executives, and boards helping them to deepen their understanding of sustainability and take credible action as they embed sustainability into their decision-making.
