Tina Mavraki is a Chartered Director with the UK Institute of Directors with global multifaceted governance and ESG experience. She is a seasoned non-executive board director of energy and metals conglomerate Mytilineos SA. She serves on the Audit & Risk, Remuneration & Nominations, and (until recently) Sustainability Committees, pioneering strategic ESG initiatives.
Tina has deep ESG expertise, currently advising UK policymakers on climate governance through the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. She produced for the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development an ESG governance manual for banks and private equity funds, respectively. She runs strategic ESG, fraud prevention and business development initiatives for the US$ 8.5 billion US commercial lending fund White Oak Global Advisors. She has produced the ESG strategy, policy and execution frameworks of smaller asset managers. She possesses climate adaptation expertise, as co-author of Moody’s e-learning course “Climate Risk Fundamentals”.
Tina has had a senior 24-year executive career in global capital markets with Morgan Stanley and Citi, in investment management with Barak Fund Management and Gemcorp Capital, and physical supply chains with Noble Group. Tina has advised the State of Maharashtra, India, on renewable policy and solar tariffs. She holds a BA and MA in Philosophy Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in Finance from the London Business School. She is a CFA charter holder.
