Wendy van Rensburg is a seasoned corporate sustainability professional with 14 years experience in designing and implementing large scale social and environmental portfolios. Prior to her appointment as ESG Officer for EIMS Africa she was a Senior Sustainability Specialist at The Shoprite Group.

Wendy is passionate about creating shared value for business and communities – previous projects demonstrate her appetite and capacity in realising triple bottom line return on investment within the context of the circular economy. She has an immense amount of experience in embedding goals and ensuring alignment of ESG outcomes with growth objectives of a business.

Wendy holds a BA (Value & Policy Studies) and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and she is a professional musician. These two worlds collide and bring both a structured and creative approach to ESG strategy development, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
